Vistancia residents will enjoy a new direct north/south access and faster commute to the Valley with the opening of Lone Mountain Parkway on March 15.
The Lone Mountain Parkway exit 127 opening on the new Loop 303 will eliminate approximately 10 minutes of travel time to and from the 7,100-acre master-planned community and provide closer access to Valley employers, entertainment, dining and major retail centers in addition to improving regional traffic flow.
The Loop 303 opened a 14-mile roadway last spring linking Vistancia with I-17 in north Phoenix to Happy Valley Road in Peoria. With the regional loop opening, 550 acres of shovel-ready commercial mixed-use land in Vistancia became available to bring much-needed development to the area.
“The Lone Mountain Parkway opening provides another benefit to our residents and individuals considering a move to the vibrant northwest Valley,” said Vice President/General Manager of Vistancia Mark Hammons. “We’ve worked hard with ADOT and the City of Peoria to complete this more convenient route for our Vistancia residents.”
Large employers have identified the region as a center for future growth and local and regional economic development officials are having continuing discussions for potential new employers, retail and other industries.

Within several years, the Loop 303 will extend south and link up with I-10, further solidifying the transportation future in the area.
